Shipping policies

We have several options to deliver your furniture:

  1. Pickup from the Kansas City workshop. This is a free service where we will help you carry the furniture item from our workshop. Choose "Pick up" during the checkout process to select this option. Once your item is finished, we will reach out to schedule a pick-up time.

  2. Standard Freight. We have partnered with UShip to provide freight delivery services for our furniture pieces to provide the most amount savings to our customers.  A flat fee of $349 for most items (heavier dining tables may incur an additional charge; we will contact you if this is the case). For each additional item added to an order, an additional charge of $300 is added to the total cost.

  3. International Delivery. We partner with UPS International to ship large and freight items. International shipping rates vary country to country and are subject to customs regulations and requirements. Please contact us for a custom quote to your country.

  4. White Glove. Our white glove delivery service offers an option where your piece will be delivered personally by lead designer and maker John Pryor. John will walk you through the story behind the piece, including the history of the specific trees in the piece and the inspiration of the design. Care and maintenance instructions will be provided, including free materials to help maintain the luster and beauty over time. A flat fee of $600 is charged for white glove delivery.

Lifetime Guarantee

All Madison Flitch pieces are backed by a lifetime guarantee for problems associated with construction — we will repair or replace any product over its lifetime.

Our lifetime guarantee does not apply in cases where a change of mind occurs around the agreed-upon requirements (such as design, wood color, grain patterns, wood species, stone or metal color, etc). In cases where a client changes their mind around a design requirement in the process of building the piece or after the piece has been delivered, a change order fee consistent with the price of materials and time will be applied.
